| Dr. Bell's most famous invention was the telephone, but he had spent years learning about sound and the human ear. Dr. Bell was also a teacher of the hearing impaired. Try out old-fashioned telephones, investigate sound, and learn other ways of communicating without sound. |

| Aleck and his wife Mabel had a summer house on Cape Breton Island. Some of Aleck's most interesting experiments happened there, but he also loved the people and the island life. Explore kites and boats, while enjoying Cape Breton crafts, food, and music! |
