P. A. Day Pastimes 2016 - 2017
Catch A Falling Star - Friday November 18th 2016
Join us at the Bell Homestead as we get ready for the annual Leonids meteor shower. We'll learn about the stars and make all kinds of stellar crafts and play some fascinating games.
Warm and Cozy- Monday January 23rd 2017
January can be cold, but the Bells' house is snug. Celebrate Burns Day with Scottish treats, make wooly crafts, and keep warm with our Highland games.
Rhymin' Time- Friday April 28th 2017
Alexander Graham Bell loved poetry. He even wrote a lot of it when he was a kid. Celebrate Poetry Month with us at the Bell Homestead!
What the Dickens? - Friday June 9th 2017
Charles Dickens, the Bell family's favourite author, died this day in 1870. Learn more about this creative writer through drama, games, crafts and baking!
Ages 5 to 11. Pre-registration is required, $25 per child per day, $14.00 per half day (25% off for museum family members). Alexander's Adventures - Drop In Activities - March 13th to March 17th
Alexander Graham Bell had many adventures in his long life. He created inventions, travelled around the world, played music, taught deaf children, loved art, and experimented constantly. Join Alexander on his adventures this March Break!

- Friday March 17th - Talking Telephone

August Day Camps - World Explorers: August 21st to August 25th and August 28th to September 1st
Ages 5 to 11. Alexander Graham Bell was involved with the National Geographic Society from its start in 1888. He gave the Nation Geographic Magazine its mission to report on "the world and all that's in it." The society and the magazine have been a part of everything from dinosaurs to the moon landings. Join us at the Bell Homestead as we explore the world with National Geographic!
Week 1 (Aug. 22 - 26): Space Age, Green Earth, Dinosaur Dig, Highest Peaks, Desert Travels
Week 2 (Aug. 29 - Sept. 2): Birds in Flight, Pyramids & Parthenons, Deep Blue Sea, Castles & Knights, Slither Snakes
